Haratech’s vision centers over the body’s bilateral design and how a medium is highly essential in achieving a harmony between complementary forces. It also conceptualizes how people spend over more than 6 hours a day on chair. Most people are potentially at risk when spending long hours on a traditional chair. This might result to ailments such as poor blood circulation around pelvis, hemorrhoids, prostate disorder, and corpulence of lower body. With health problems associated with that lifestyle, it is essential to seek ways to maintain proper posture and circulation.
Haratech has created the “Harachair” with a pair of separated seats and a mechanism to control the space between the seats. The mechanism of the Harachair supports the pelvis in a triangular shape by adjusting the seats vertically and horizontally to give a user the best comforting experience. It gives importance to the distribution of bodily pressure and body movement to design the shape of the chair. There should be an adequate support to pelvis because the weight of the upper body is focused on it. When pelvis is misaligned due more weight, the spine tries to compensate for it by twisting into an ‘S’ shape, resulting to more complications. As a result spine is twisted and that in turn may cause a migraine headache.
Among its major product lines are the UP2 Series, the Miracle Series, the Special series and the Deluxe Series. The Harachair models are categorically designed for home and office use. It comes with a variety of regular and larger scaled chairs.
The Harachair’s design is highly based upon the prevention of 3 major health issues:
- Prevention of corpulence of a lower body
- Maintaining the balance between pelvis and spine
- Circulation around anal area
The Hara 0401, also known as the Veneto, is generally designed for office use. Like other Harachair models, the base of the Veneto is separated in two and can be adjusted to give comfort to the body. Its mechanism allows easy adjustment of the base of the chair to give more stability and comfort. The base of the Veneto can move vertically to fit the pelvic structure of a person, adjusting itself to fit the ideal pelvic angle for men and women. The shifting incline relieves pressure on the lower body and enables better blood circulation.
The arms of the Veneto can be adjusted vertically and horizontally to support the arms as it corresponds with the movement of the lower body towards the chair’s base.

The back support and headrest can be shifted to fit your preference. The Veneto’s backrest has 5 different modes to give comfort to the upper body. The backrest can be adjusted to lean backward at a considerable angle or even adjust its height. The headrest is designed to give a better head and neck support. It can also be removed and adjusted to a better height or angle.
For the best support, the weight of the upper body must be distributed evenly. The Veneto adjusts the seats to support the body and maintains the ideal angle of the seats (65′ for men, 85′ for women). The Veneto and other Harachair models are devised in a way to adjust to the pelvis and people can sit properly without effort. The basic idea of redefining the base sets the Harachair’s design from other ergonomical chairs.
