Grahl: Synchromatic Collection
If Grahl has a series of ergonomic chairs that’s quite worth giving a look and pitting with its other competitor brands, it would definitely have to be the Synchromatic Collection. Sans the unforgivably uniform and mundane design that is typical of Grahl collections, you would most likely have your money’s worth with this. If you aren’t looking for a more exciting esthetic appearance, this will fit nicely in your office and give you enough comfort that can help you get through that hectic workday.

The Synchromatic Collection is composed of four similar chairs, namely Synchromatic 1, Synchromatic 2, Synchromatic 1H and Synchromatic 2H, respectively. These four chairs basically contain the same features supposedly imminent in every Synchromatic Colletion chair: dual wheel caster with safety brakes built-in within it, seat depth adjustment, pneumatic height adjustment and a good bonus is that all these chairs have 9 different armrest options including patented height and width adjustable keyboard arms. You can hardly find the armrest options in most models, so you ought to make the most out of it. These chairs would be heaven to the majority of people who are often glued on their computer screens all day to accomplish all their tasks. Smooth relief and freedom of movement is at bay.
You would only have to pay an upcharge to avail yourself of the Tempur foam, though, which comes free with the less impressive Allmatic collection that is also by Grahl. The obvious downside to the Synchromatic collection is that extra features (which can be found built-in in other models) come with an additional price with this particular collection of ergonomic chairs. It’s not as flexible as we would like it to be, features-wise.
Among the four, the most standout ( and highly recommended) models would definitely be Synchromatic 1H and Synchromatic 2H. Aside from the abovementioned features, they happen to contain a Duo-back height (feature patented, no less), width adjustable back pads with shaping made concave and convex to support the user’s natural back shape, bringing extreme comfort to the entire back, especially the lumbar area. The 1H and 2H are definitely hyped up versions of 1 and 2 Synchromatic versions.
You can rock your way to your heart’s delight with this Synchromatic collection because it has a ready mechanism to support even the most rigorous rocking you might be subjected to doing while in the heat of that immense office work you’re going to face on a daily basis (assuming that you are a average working Joe). You have two options for the bases (and this is available for all 4 Synchromatic models), triple Y or five-star, and this is adjustable at your bidding. Whether you have enough room for wide or narrow base coverage is never going to be an issue as long as you avail yourself and make maximum use of this particular option.
As for reclining, you have at least 3″ adjustment. Fairly competent, but poor compared to other chair models that are available from other manufactures (i.e. Ambi, Equa 2 or Reaction chairs). Seat depth adjustments compensate for the lack in other features though, for you can go as low as you want it to go with its ample allowance as far as depth is concerned.
All in all, synchromatic chairs are a neat piece of office interior that can be passable enough for keeping.
